New Zealand is a medium-sized Oceanian map added to OpenFront in Update 35.0 by RickD004 — the North and South Islands, with traditional Māori tribal regions as nations, aimed at Oceania players.
Nations
The map features 20 named nations, including Te Tai Tokerau, Tainui, Te Arawa Waka, Waipounamu, Rakiura and Rekohu. A further 63 names (such as Far North, Whangarei and Kaipara) are held in reserve and used when a game needs more nations than the map defines.
