Canary Islands is an island map added to OpenFront in Update 35.0 by RickD004 — the Canary Islands off the African coast, with shortened sea crossings between the islands. It is weighted highly in the team-game rotation.
Nations
The map features 14 named nations, including Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Palmas, Arrecife, Puerto del Rosario, Valverde and Laayoune. A further 67 names (such as Frontera, El Pinar and Agulo) are held in reserve and used when a game needs more nations than the map defines.
