Bab el-Mandeb Strait is a map of the strait between the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, added to OpenFront in Update 35.0 by RickD004 — a balanced two-team map set in the early 1960s, using the region’s flags from that period.
Nations
The map features 26 named nations, including Aden, Sanaa, French Somaliland, Sultanate of Lahej, Emirate of Beihan and Assab. A further 15 names (such as Zabid, Audhali and Al Luḩayyah) are held in reserve and used when a game needs more nations than the map defines.
